Entry fee conditions

The Member that enters a player or pair into a BEC Junior Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees. Fees become due if a player is entered and has not been withdrawn when the entry deadline passes. Bank transfer is recommended, but organisers can accept cash at tournaments. Entry fees will not be refunded in case of withdrawal; organisers can invoice withdrawn players to the relevant Member. Organisers may refuse entries if Members or players have outstanding fees from a previous year.

Location

City Sporthall Orlova

Masarykova 1313, 735 14 Orlova-Lutyne. Orlova lies in the district of Karvina, near the borders with Poland and the Slovak Republic. It is 20 km from Ostrava and about 400 km from Prague.

By car

From Prague: motorway E50 direction Brno, motorway E462 direction Olomouc, then Ostrava, Karvina and Orlova.

By train

Prague Main Station to Ostrava Main Station or Bohumin. Railway Poland to Bohumin is also listed in the official information.

By air

Airport Ostrava-Mosnov. Arrival by air from Vienna or Poland is listed as possible. There is no regular air connection between Prague airport and Ostrava-Mosnov.

Ostrava Main Station is the official point of arrival. Organizers do not arrange transport from Prague airport; use train or bus.

Accommodation should be ordered together with entries through the reservation form. Requirements will be satisfied as much as possible; the organizer may make changes if needed to arrange accommodation for all teams.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served about 300 m from the sport hall. Full day meals are 26 EUR per person: 8 EUR breakfast, 9 EUR lunch, 9 EUR dinner.

Accommodation payments

Apartment Orlova and Hotel Garni are without breakfast. Hotel bills have to be paid to the local organizer before the championship, immediately on arrival.

Meals

The first meal will be breakfast on Friday, 13 November 2026. Meal counts are collected in the reservation form for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Transfer prices

Ostrava airport transfer: 20 EUR per car, one way, maximum 4 persons. Ostrava or Bohumin train station transfer: 15 EUR per car, one way.

Transfer deadline

Closing date for transfer reservation: 25 October 2026. The arrival and departure form should be sent to Jan Tobola / TJ Orlova Lutyne. Car transport from Ostrava airport, Ostrava Main Station or Bohumin train station to the hotel is arranged by the organizer after advance reservation.

Payment and insurance

All payments must be done cash at the accreditation and in Euro only; credit cards are not accepted. It is possible to pay in advance by bank transfer. Insurance is to be arranged individually by participants.

Conditions of play

The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton and Competition Regulations as adopted by the BWF as well as Badminton Europe Junior Circuit Regulations. In the event of any dispute, the Referee's decision shall be final.

Competitors must be prepared to play at the times quoted in the order of play for the events for which they have entered. Competitors will be scratched if not ready to play when called. Competitors should not leave the playing area during the tournament without the Referee's permission.

Clothing rules

Colour, design, lettering and advertising on clothing shall be regulated by BWF Statutes, Section 5.2.3: Junior Tournament Regulations, paragraphs 12 to 16. A player violating these regulations shall be penalised by an administrative fine of 50 EUR.

For semi-finals and finals, doubles partners must wear the same colour of T-shirt and shorts or skirt. Failing to do so shall result in an administrative fine of 50 EUR.

Visas

After entering one or more players in the tournament, it is the Member's responsibility to secure visas for their players if needed. Members must make sure that visa applications are made early enough. Tournament organisers will do everything possible to enable entered players to get a visa.

Doping control

Doping control in badminton, in accordance with BWF Anti-Doping Regulations, is conducted out-of-competition and in-competition with the collection of urine and/or blood samples. Athletes are responsible for any substance found in their body.

Before an athlete takes any medication, they should check with their doctor and, if necessary, get a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). More information: BWF anti-doping overview.

Badminton integrity

Section 2.4 of the BWF Statutes, Code on The Prevention of The Manipulation of Competitions, relates to anti-corruption and anti-match manipulation and applies to all participants at this tournament.

Participants are not allowed to bet in any way on badminton matches, must respect fair play, and must not attempt to influence the course or result of a game or match. Every person has an obligation to report approaches to gather inside information or change the outcome of matches. More information: BWF anti-match-fixing overview.

Ranking validity and entry responsibility

In accordance with BWF Statutes, Section 5.3.3.2: World Junior Ranking System, an event must contain at least eight competitors in the first published version of the main draw. If this number is not met, that event shall not count towards any ranking.

An event must also contain at least one entry from a Member other than the hosting Member in the first published version of the main draw. Badminton Europe is not liable for costs incurred by third persons because of an event not having enough competitors to count for rankings.

Compliance with GCR 7.9 means the Member reconfirms acceptance of BWF regulations and disciplinary processes for itself and the entered players.

Reservation form content

The accommodation form collects National Association, contact person, fax, telephone, e-mail, total number of persons, arrival and departure dates, hotel choice, room counts, number of nights and meal counts for Friday 13 November, Saturday 14 November and Sunday 15 November.

The arrival and departure form collects means of transport (car, train, plane or other), arrival/departure date and time, number of persons, flight number, train number and coming from / going to information. Both reservation forms include date and signature.
